US Postal Service loses $5.2 billion, warns of low cash
WASHINGTON, Aug 9 (Reuters) - The U.S. Postal Service's net loss widened to $5.2 billion during the three months that ended in June, and the cash-strapped agency warned on Thursday that without help from the U.S. Congress it will face low cash and be unable to borrow money this fall.

Bombardier profit, sales fall on gap in train contracts
Aug 9 (Reuters) - Canada's Bombardier Inc reported a 14 percent fall in second-quarter profit on lower revenue in its train division as it completed some contracts in Asia-Pacific and Europe, and major orders were still in the startup phase.

NEW YORK, Aug 9 (Reuters) - U.S. liquefied natural gas terminal developer Cheniere Energy has given the green light for construction of the first U.S. LNG export plant in a generation, which is expected to be ready by 2015, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
